Westborough has the good fortune of being strategically located at the crossroads of major transportation networks, but maintains a good balance between fast-paced urban life and suburban residential areas. The community is known as a good place to live with high levels of community participation, good municipal services including excellent schools and a pride in it’s history (which includes Eli Whitney and Admiral Denfeld). The community has attracted high technology manufacturing and corporate headquarters as well as a wide mix of other commercial enterprises. The positive community climate continues to encourage business growth on the one hand, while also encouraging pleasant open areas spacing attractive residential developments.

Westborough is located in east-central Massachusetts, bordered by Northborough on the north, Southborough and Hopkinton on the east, Upton on the south, and Grafton and Shrewsbury on the west. Westborough is about 12 miles east of Worcester, 29 miles west of Boston, and 185 miles from New York City.
